1st shooting day

Production:

The first scenes we shot were some impressions from the campus and mainly the gym and RU stadium.




Then we did the jogging and team sport scenes. We met our actor Shawn from Canada and Frederick Wilde (member of the project team last semester) with some of his german friends and a few thais, who played the soccer team.

First we filmed Shawn jogging around the lake at the Ramkhamhaeng University's campus.



Afterwards we shot scenes with Shawn and the football team.


Impressions, experiences and stories:

It proved true that at 17:30 we have to stop shooting because the sun is setting and the light changes to an evening atmosphere.

We had to realise that the beginning of our sentence which is spoken directly to the camera (“I am studing at the Ramkhamhaeng Universitie’s Institute of International Studies here in Bangkok because…”) is really hard to say. Even for a native speaker it feels like a tongue twister.
